All programs for the above formats are available to a PC, you can get them
free from the Net! 

If you plan on being around the Internet for any length of time then I would
get a gunzip'er (it is gzip'ed not compressed.) And not having a uudecoder
will make your net life very hard. There are plenty of postscript viewers
for PC's out there.

Sounds like your PC is about 3 (or more) steps away from being usefull if
you want to talk to do stuff on the Net :-)
