Introductions

	Hello everyone. I joined this list to learn more about
IDS and maybe compile a database of rules to use with a IDS.
But since I joined 90 of what I have seen on this list is introductions.
Now dont get me wrong I enjoy reading about other people, but I do
not see how is this relevant at all. I check my mail once a day
to see that out of 10 new messages in this list 7 or 8 are introductions
maybe from people like me that will simple be lurking trying to learn
a bit more, while more expirenced people discuess.

	There should really be a second mailing list for the introductions
or they should be mailed to the list admin for him to put up for ftp
or http. In any case we are going no where and wasting bandwith and disk 
space.

	Just my 2 cents.
