[...] You might want to check out tpage: ftp://ftp.cs.colorado.edu/pub/sysadmin/misc/tpage_csops-2.1.tar.Z The dox say that it supports alpha pagers; I'm not sure whether or not it supports a vanilla numeric pager as well. Here is an excerpt from the README: "tpage" or "Tom's Pager System" is a set of programs that let you send messages to alpha-numeric pagers using the "IXO" protocol.
