Anyone looked at the feature of Netscape's Navigator called "cookies"? It's legit use is to allow any Web site to store any sort of information about your visit (ie. how long you look around, specific pages you look at) to a file on your hard disk drive. The information is stored in a file called "cookies.txt" on Windows machines. I'm not sure of what it is called on other machines. The file can be located in the directory where the Navigator program is. It looks like a WEB site that is visited by a browser(you) can view information on your hard disk drive. If you pretend to be another site you can get access to information the cookies stores. Cookies are built into browsers and cannot be turned off. From what I see you can only delete the file. You will need to do this everytime you do a netscape session, because a new cookies file is created each time you do a session.
