I used to call some bbs in Hong Kong., all the HK boards were
using call back verification in the new user application.. but it
couldn't dial overseas.. so the way to defeat i found was to call right
back, play a the dial tone freq and send an ATA to the modem.

Of course, it didn't work all the time.

[ That is why callback should be implemented with seperate dial-out/dial
-in lines. Users call in on dial-in and system calls back on seperate
