ISO 7498-2  Information Processing Systems - Open System Interconnection -
Basic Reference Model - Part 2: Security Architecture; February 1989.

This part defines OSI security architecture as an enhancement to the OSI
architecture.  It describes security architecture concepts such as security
services and security mechanisms.  It also outlines how security  services
can be placed in the OSI Reference Model.  SC21 proposed confirmation
(continuance as a valid standard without revision) of this part in June
1993. 

***NOTE:  On January 1, 1978, the Copyright Act of 1976(title 17
