Does anyone have any comments on Tilvoli as a security managment and
detection system ?

We are thinking about Tivoli as an Enterprise System Managment (ESM)
product and I like some feedback on it as a security product.  Yes I know
that it was not designed as a security product and I know that they use a
"plug-in" for there
security services.  How are these services implmented for NT and Unix ?
Does the product have a network traffic
analyizer for detecting intrusion signatures.  Does the product provide
serivce to roll out patches from the te OS vendor ?
Has the product been evaluated by any independent oganizations like a
university  ?

This should be enough to start the conversation.
