From my point of view I need to understand the vulnerabilities of Novell in order to be able to appeciate the value of tools to protect it. As it is considered a "dull" operating system, there is less information about it available than there is about other operating systems. I understand the tools for hacking TCP/IP and also understand the tools for defending TCP/IP.
