My name is Michael Ward, and I'm a Systems Integration Analyst at Fair,
Isaac, Inc.  I'm getting pulled, slowly and reluctantly, into the postion
of being the security chicken-little for my company, since it has become my
job to bring us online to the Internet.  I don't know which to fear the
most: intrusion from the outside, ignorance on the inside, or just general
stupidy (my own, of course, is the most terrifying).  On the other hand,
the emerging Web technologies (Has everyone seen Sun's HotJava?) are just
too exciting, for uses inside as well as outside the firewall, to allow one
to sit still.
