I just set up a local exploder for this list here at Open Systems. Our network
security group (nsg@open.ch) is working on corporate security and firewalls.

I for myself think that while there are a lot of mailing lists covering the
technical aspects of implementing security concepts there is hardly any
discussion about automated (intelligent?) detection of security threads.
As I can see from the 'Introduction to Intrusion Detection Systems' there
seem to be some existing intrusion detection systems as of today. I haven't
heard of any of those - so, I'm basically trying to catch up with
latest technology (as usual :-).
