Well the list intro suggested i introduce myself to the list. My name is Matthew Keenan (as this is all to obvious). i am a systems programmer/admin at UTS. i have been hacking unix (in the old sense of the word) since march last year when i started here as a student. i would eventually like to end up working in unix security work/consulting. i have been coding for 14 odd years or so, i started out on microbees using BASIC (brain damage here we come). i then later moved on to PCs coding in mainly assembly with a little C on the side. in 1993 i started a BSc(Math) at UTS, which is when i got into unix. toward the end of last year i got a job here as a support advisor, and a few months ago progressed to becoming a systems programmer. since becoming a systems programmer i have become the ad hoc security admin for the central computing facilities here at UTS. i read extensively, manuals, books, source etc. i am on the firewalls, bugtraq and cert lists. i think that just about covers me. if anyone wants more info just mail me.
