We can already be spied on.  We can be spied on by our sys admins, we can be
spied on by intruders.  Not much prevents almost anyone who wants to from
spying
on us.  I don't know if these tools will increase the risk of being spied
upon;
perhaps, but probably only by people who may already do so anyway.  I like to
think that these tools will increase user privacy by assisting in the
detection
of such bad activity and by thereby helping to ward off those who, unwatched,
might engage in spying.
