That is indeed one of the risks of answering mail from newsgroup remailers.
I am delighted that you and Tom can make it at Terry and Carol's on
Monday. I should be there on time unless the weather is bad. SFO
sprung a monster leak in a water main just at the instrumented end
of the one runway equipped for foulest-weather landing, and they've
had to turn off the equipment because the leak detection and repair
process is interfering with the landing aids. They estimate AT LEAST
five days to repair, assuming they were able to find the leak promptly.
