I'm one of the horde of IDS newbies - I believe I saw the reference on the
firewalls list (either there or bugtraq).  I'm sysadmin for the central
Unix machines here at Dartmouth, and have had my level of paranoia
increased recently with the release of the SATAN stuff (*very* nicely done,
BTW), as well as some things happening here locally.  I'm interested in intrusion 
detection for the obvious reasons.
