CAN WE STOP THE INTRODUCTIONS?

I'm very interested in the material on this list server, but its incredibly
inconvenient to have all of these INTRODUCTION messages filling up my mail box.

If somebody wants to keep an annotated list of all the subscribers and
periodically mail it in one chunk, that'd be great.   If the group needs space
on a WEB server, I have room on 
   http://www.c3i.wsoc.com

But this introduction thing is getting out of hand.  I'm on several mail lists
and none of them do this.  I'm not interested, I don't have time, and my
company doesn't supply me with an email client that makes it convenient to
discard them.
